THUNDERDOME -II 2005

Here at the Back To The Thunderdome site you'll find all the info that you need to know about the most exciting R/C race in Australia this year.

Well, Thunderdome II for 2005 is on its way for Sunday Aug 21st. And yes it's a DAYTIME event.

The gates will open around 8.00am for those wanting to get there early to practice, and racing proper will start at around 10.00am. The Velodrome is locked all the time now but a practice day will be announced for possibly a fortnight beforehand. Details will be announced.

NEWS - NEWS - NEWS!!!

Practice day confirmed as Saturday AUGUST 13TH 1.00pm - 5.00 pm. Please note that power will NOT be available on the day and you will need to make alternative arrangements.

Classes are as follows
Off-Road, F1, Mini, 1/12th, Touring Car Stock, Touring Car Modified, Pro 10, Open Nitro, Nitro Pro Tourer, 1/8th, 1/5th, in fact if enough people turn up we'll run a class for anything! And of course the legendary TOP GUN RUN (anything ANYTHING goes!!) 3 laps with Lap 2 timed for the winning run.
